I do not think I could have made this transition without your help. Every person I came into contact with was incredible even to Anton, your maintenance person helping me push boxes downstairs!!! Everything went very smoothly and efficiently. It was a terribly rough time for me and everyone’s kindness helped.

When we visited The Residence at Forsgate, we were immediately impressed with the fact that this community was modern, beautifully decorated and featured recreational activities, plus a lovely dining room. My mom was at The Residence at Forsgate for almost 9 years, four of which were in “Reflections”, their dementia care unit. Throughout her stay she was treated with respect and love. Her dignity was always one of their primary concerns. Mom was always encouraged to participate in the planned activities and join the other residents in the dining room. Having doctors and nurses always available provided my family and I with a sense of security and peace of mind.

I selected the Residence at Forsgate primarily because of the compassionate and quality care provided by your professional staff as well as your proximity to me and the variety of daily activities and programs offered. When it was time for us to locate a "new" home for mom, we visited a number of assisted living facilities in the area and felt the Residence at Forsgate was the best choice. We loved the homey atmosphere and felt the entire staff truly took a personal interest in all of the residents. Relocating a loved one from the home they've loved for many years is  not an easy task. The staff, at the Residence at Forsgate, made these transitions a positive one by showing their concern and dedication.

My brother is the happiest he has been in a long time. He loves the food and the activities, especially the shopping trips. From my point of view, I know that he is being taken of care 24/7 by a staff of well-trained, compassionate professionals who take pride in the quality of care that they are providing. It is also very comforting to know that his meds are being properly administered.

My mother likes the respite service so much that she stayed for a few weeks at at time and recently stayed for three months. She was with people her age and could participate in activities. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they made her feel at home. My sister and I felt confident that she was being cared for properly.
